FILAMENTS is a training service designed specifically for x-ray inspection agencies. We aim to provide the education you need to perform inspections of ionizing radiation-producing equipment while understanding the impact of the regulations on safety and quality. We will provide training from the basics of x-ray production and imaging through advanced modalities, such as CT, in the format you need. Please complete the following form for more details.

Physics Modules

These self-guided modules are provided to allow inspectors new to x-ray to learn the basic physics concepts of medical imaging and grow through more advanced modalities. Experienced inspectors can refresh their knowledge of basic concepts and expand to new areas. ASRT credit is available for each module.
